Hovie Dulin

Hovie Scott Dulin, 59, of Concord, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his residence.

Scott was born March 21, 1961 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Hovie Warlin Dulin and the late Elsie Marie Dulin. Scott grew up in Charlotte, NC  where he graduated from Olympic High School in 1979.

He attended Central Piedmont Community College to study horticulture while working in the plumbing field.  He continued working as a plumber in residential plumbing and eventually commercial plumbing.  He was a licensed Plumbing Technician in the state of NC.  He along with others he enjoyed working with helped to install plumbing in many of the commercial buildings all over Charlotte and surrounding areas.  Scott was a loving and kind husband and father, he was proud of his children and loved spending time with them.

He especially loved gardening and sharing any knowledge about gardening with his family and friends.  He loved giving people the vegetables he had grown in his garden.   Scott enjoyed all sports but especially football and college basketball.  Duke was his favorite in college basketball and of coarse the Carolina Panthers.

Survivors include wife, Donna Dulin of Concord, NC. Sons Seth J. Dulin of Concord, NC and Corey S. Dulin and wife Katellyn of Concord, NC.

A Memorial service will be held for Scott at Shiloh United Methodist Church 4149 Odell School Road Concord, NC  28027 on Saturday March 13th at 2:00PM.
