Robert Drye

Robert P. Drye, 87, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home in Concord.

Mr. Drye was born August 17, 1934 in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late Lonnie Titus Drye and the late Puah Hill Drye.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Craven and Jake; sisters, Ruth, Kathy, and Deanie.

Survivors include loving and cherished wife of almost 67 years, Margie Little Drye and faithful companion, Blaze; son, Danny (Martina) Drye; daughters, Cheryl (Bill) Cannon, Sandy (Tim) Thomas; grandchildren, Maranna Drye, MacKenzie (Tristina) Drye, Christian Cannon, Hunter Cannon, Jacob Thomas, Chase Thomas; and sister, Rachel.

Bob was a loving husband, father, and Paw Paw. He was a dedicated servant of Christ, serving in many roles of Church leadership and as a Gideon with Gideon's International. He was a well loved business man in the community; employed with Biltmore Dairy, owned and operated The Cornerstone, Bob's Produce, and was a much missed delivery man for the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg is serving the Drye family.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:30 pm, Friday, January 28, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The graveside service will be on Friday at 2:00 pm at Aquadale Baptist Church in Norwood at 32871 Church St, Norwood, NC 28128, officiated by Pastor Randy Pierce.
