Rella worked in textiles but her greatest work was serving her church, Pleasant Grove, where she was the oldest surviving member. She was a very active member her whole life and taught many different ages, helped with VBS and sang in the choir. Her other passion was working in her yard and garden.

The family would like to thank Spring Arbor, where Rella had been a resident for over five years. The staff was another family to her and she cared for them, knew their kids and grandkids names and prayed for them daily. She made many friends during her time there and we are forever grateful for the joy and comfort that filled her life in her home away from home.

The funeral will be held on Monday, June 27 at 4pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with intermittent in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and condolences after the service and burial in the fellowship hall.
